Plan vs. Execution

Though none on earth is sure about how long one may live, everybody is busy in planning out whole saga of life. Interestingly almost all and sundry looks like influenced by someone else, is it be with buying or studying or working or walking or anything.  Please ask yourself have you really achieved exactly as you planned? Are you satisfied with the result against your plan of life? Are you getting satisfied wealth? Ok let us be little specific. Have you got the percentage what you planned for your final high qualification? Did you got married as per your plan or it was of someone else plan? Did you get your first job with your liked portfolio & pay? Though you may enroll your child in best school for great results, but did you get. Is your son or daughter is taking care of you? So it’s fair to believe that plan is temporary and execution is permanent. No one is bothered on what you planned, no one is really interested in looking at your changed templates or formats of plan and only things done, work done, activity finished, subject accomplished are chattered & creates history. So let god be your planner as he would have already written about your fate and you just be executor. Execution is keep doing things, keep doing work coming your way, keep doing your social job. Spend more time on execution, action and not on plan. Remember the quote of Pablo “Action is the foundational key to all success”.

Fate vs. Hard & smart work

When one read above view it may strike to mind that fate can changed by good planning, hard work and smart work. Is it? Can we achieve something beyond fate by great planning? Ok now let me share a very old story I came across somewhere. Long ago there lived one king with vast empire. He did many works for the state. One day he realized that he is getting older so he has to plan the handover of empire to his heirs and he was also eager to know about his death. As he was holding big empire he had all sort of experts of various fields. King does not find any difficulty in dispensing his empire to heirs. Scientist also arrived at his tentative date of death based on his life style. However his priests had done yet bigger job for him by knowing his date, time & place of death. The priests indicated that king will die after two years on particular date at garbage dump yard near his state. King laughed at priest and said that I have built this empire after great plans, strategies & battles, unknowingly ignoring or overlooking contributions of various soldiers, his ministers, experts and his fate. King believed that he can plan well and can decide his wished place of death and he decided to avoid his death on Garbage dump yard. He handed over the empire to his heirs and went away to Kashi on the banks of river Ganga, without informing anyone as he decided to die on the banks of Ganga. He disguised himself as a saint and started living on the river bank, but gradually his health started deteriorating due to new climate & improper food intake. His time of death was approaching, king’s health worsened more & he starting losing his memory, speech & visualization. But he sticks to the plan of death on the banks of Ganga. He wanted to prove that fate can be changed with great plans & smart work. Now, king’s death time was almost near, there visited one family from his state-hood. After offering prayers to Holy river family realized that the saint looks like there king and he is very ill so they must take him back to the kingdom. As king could not see & speak properly he was not able to express his wish, the family laden him on the horse and started travel. When they reached on the outskirts of state-hood where Garbage dump yard was there, king felt very bad and slipped from the horse and died on the spot, as written in his fate. Just live happily with whatever you have. Don’t spend your time in charting plans & strategies of long period.

Happiness vs. you

Its, quiet commonly heard around that money is very important to live in this world. Yes, exactly right but at the same time one must earn money to live happily and not spend his life time in filling up statements, charts, designs, colors, reports of some person or organization just because you are paid out money for doing it. Love what you do & that’s the key of happiness. If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.  I remember the quote of Maya Angelou “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." It’s simple you should be happy with whatever you have. Try out pulling happiness out of every such scene which gives you feel of behind in this world. For example- your boss or colleague or friend or enemy bought a new car & you don’t have one. Here I will make this scene into a happy mood without having a car. How? Ok, for buying a good car one must be spending minimum 3 lakh rupees, should have parking space & further recurring maintenance cost, fuel cost. Beside all this it carries greater stress & risk too if buyer is driver. Moreover, after some years cost of car becomes zero too. Now assume that you will put same amount in Bank as fixed deposit for this purpose & so you will earn interest. Spend this earned interest in hiring your wished car with driver whenever you want. Your amount at the end of any year will be plus only, be happy, the former is at certain loss. Likewise any matter you come across try to take positive energy out of it, try to turn the scene to your happiness. It’s probable. Happiness is happening substance in the world. If you are happy “All is well & all yours”.

Water scarcity is it REAL for all ? - I feel NO

Yes your smile or laugh may burst out into anger on this expression but then still you haven't read this essay of Hindi poet. So, "water scarcity-is it real for all". Beloved ones, on water scarcity I have a crucial doubt, so let me start with this view, rather a doubt. From where food & Beverage industry in India is getting continues supplies of water for stocking out 1. Packaged and mineral drinking water 2. Cold and soft drinks 3. Juices of all kind. 4. Wine/Beer/Daru ? From where they get water to cater all across supplies in the country ? are they exporting, not sure?  So here in our million liters of water is stored in bottles & containers of paper, plastic & glass. Readers please be aware that I am discussing scarcity of water & not the wastage.

I consider this as major scarcity reason among all.  I feel that scarcity is naturally created due to this stocking. Rather than all of the time, I feel that we all ignore or may be our attention is diverted from this cause of scarcity. No media constantly reports on this. No government reports this. No vision or idea is tossed on this by experts of the field. I think citizen welfare activist, social workers, environmentalist, nature carer & few great human beings do not see this as reason and stand up against this accumulation of water. May be many of us have no time to explore on this cause of water scarcity.

Why few villagers, farmers, needy and poor do not get water ? when big business units & industries can manage water, why not our government do it for our citizens ? why it cant be ? Well I am not answering this as 'NO' and so I need not itemize it. Isn't it. Yes I mean every needy can be supplied water. I am positive, though my blood group is one of rare one. But instead of water to the needy, duty is given to needy, poor & farmers to save water ? So few will store it for business gain and few real needy has to store it for surviving.

All across development in villages is low, villages growth of population is not so rapid, villages do not have industries so how the scarcity is ? Just because of high summer !!! but then this summer is same in cities or urban !!!!! Can we question this to the giants of beverage and food industry that supply this stocked water to real needy, poor, farmers who cannot buy it ? Can we ask them to reduce the stocks during summers ? Can we ask them to flush out there 2% CSR fund on free supply of water to the poor & needy ? Can we ? Your one share of this essay may fetch water to someone & that someone will really loves you. Spread this essay, let it reach the industry.

Proposed Plan for increasing employment opportunities and revenue for government.

In India we have numerous small businesses. We may see that many are not registered under any authority of taxes. In pretext of small business, many are taking undue advantage of evading taxes supposed to be remitted to government treasury.

This is known that the taxes are collected from the end user but aren’t remitted on the respective sales as many are not registered at all. There is certainly loss of revenue on these countless un-registered businesses in India.

What can be done?

1.       All businesses are to be compulsorily registered under respective state taxes & central taxes as applicable irrespective of turnover.

2.       Declaration of Sales & purchases i.e., Return filing should be mandatory for all categories.

How employment generation can be linked to this?

Youth category who are having minimum qualification like SSLC/+12 or even graduate can be enrolled under some kind of government scheme (to be newly introduced, wherein duty of them will be identify the un-registered business unit in there locality and get them registered for which certain compensation as commission can be fixed & paid.

For enrolment some preliminary tests can be taken & subsequently basic trainings can be given on the subject of state & central taxes

Benefits-

1.       Will become Employment generation initiative of its own kind.

2.       Increases employment in youth sector.

3.       Increases indirect revenues of state & Centre

Other suggestions-

·         HRA- Finance Ministry may consider & declare few more cities as metro for the determination of HRA limit of 50% as we see in many cities rental is higher like existing metro cities Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata & Chennai. Suggested cities are Pune, Hyderabad & Bangalore.

·         Children education allowance- This can be raised to 500/- per month per child for up-to 2 children.

·         Income tax Rates- Need not be separate for citizens on age & gender basis. These can be one for all the groups and categories.

·         BPL Cards- All BPL cards holder details should be in online public domain & holder must have bank account. This will curb & control corruption related to benefits passed on to BPL families & in ascertaining the real BPL families.

My & yours’s Restored Ideas to control Air pollution in India—No odd & even confusion

Lately we came across various environment related talks, meetings and so on. Indian principal court has given some stiff rules to obey on controlling air pollution in capital of India, Delhi, may be essential and unavoidable.

Then, I anticipate hitches in implementing the complicated rules laid.

-How ban on private cars will reduce and help the city to overcome huge air pollution disorder?

-Are we missing the target?

-Are we complicating city’s socio-economic & cultural scenario?

-Can the order of court be followed or implemented with existing public transport model?

Well, we must be having better ideas. Great Indian ideas! Indian juggadbazzi….yes we have!

I am just hoarding up few easy ways which I have distinguished from people around me. I believe these are better ways to handle pollution of air. Indiawalle let’s do it and question for it.

Develop Cycle Lanes—

This one is great idea. I don’t know why India do not have cycle lanes across cities or when road models are build cycle lanes should be given priority and extra attention. With safe cycle lanes people will be motivated as use of cycle not only save money but also improves health a lot.

Rise parking charges—

Oho, this may sound little different but not a bad idea as increase in parking charges will make vehicle users to reduce the use and so the less pollution. Citizens should have proper footpaths— By providing good footpaths, clean subways, and zebra crossing. These will motivate pedestrian’s to walk, with better subways and walk paths use of public transport will increase. I do not see any hurdle in improving this kind of infrastructure across nation. Do you feel any issue in this? Efficient Public Transport network— Indian cities are in need of super strong network of public transportation. The government should consider introducing more ecofriendly buses, special buses for senior citizens & physically challenged. More number of sub-urban trains and metros too can be introduced. A better public transport certainly helps to reduce the private vehicles. Only people zones— Identify and develop only pedestrian zones or only people zone, especially where huge crowded shopping places exist. This will discourage the vehicle users to use vehicles for shopping and so reduces the pollution. Rise vehicle fuel prices— Smiling….well you feel this is already implemented but certainly rise in petrol and diesel prices may contribute to reduce the vehicle usage. And moreover don’t forget we are exploiting natural resources. Emile Zola’s quote “The meaning of life is to conquer the Unknown” I was just wondering how one can do that. Any formula exists? No. But an artless idea knocked my attention, well one way of doing it is by asking questions for personal, social & economic evolution.

Generally in the world people who asks questions are not liked, citing that an individual who is asking is holding a custom of this kind, he/she do not cite resolutions, his/her questions are irrational and so on inane reverts.

Then why one would love to answer if he/she is looking for a job? Why one would love to answer if he/she is getting a business order? It is just simple, people like only what they like or love to hear and so if question is not anticipated or not as per the receiver’s wish it is disliked. Further like or dislike also depends upon interpretation of view posed. The question may not be interpreted as how you wanted to express. Here, therefore an enquirer should not worry about the receiver’s view as one cannot dream out the receiver’s like, dislikes and interpretation.

My view is poles apart on this. I consider an enquirer as THINKER. The one who do not know what to ask cannot think beyond certain limits. Without asking one’s self mind and soul how one can understand the dynamic world. How one can anticipate human growth without posing and triggering question. Did newton discover “newton’s law” without posing question to self? How Bulb is discovered? How human being did discovered fire? Well answer of all is triggering of question and working upon it or posing it to world and making someone to think best ways of working on it.  

I consider an enquirer as LEARNER, sometimes the most efficient. Is someone who knows answer for everything exists? The moment one feel he knows everything and need not scratch his head for silly things may lose up great things in life. I consider an enquirer as ENGINEER, something like executing a drawing for the next levels.

We are in world were thinkers are hired & paid. A THINKER IS A QUESTIONER OR ENQUIRER. Thinkers may turn the life of an individual to significant position or vice verse  In some countries asking question is provided and protected under law and I am lucky I am in one such great nation INDIA. We are not here to please someone with line of notes someone anticipate, we are here to express ourselves to best.

Let your mind explore unknown things! Let your mind Think! Let your mind Learn! Let your mind do some sort of exercise! Do not let your mind influenced by others! The one who ask questions can be a THINKER, LEARNER, and ENGINEER & well all are hired now!
